Inspired by American photographer Slim Aarons’ environmental portraits of the international elite in their exclusive playgrounds during the heyday of the jet-set, Linda Farrow Spring Summer 2018 is a celebration of an era of style, grace, and the good life. This season’s standout styles feature ombre pastel lenses set in solid acetate frames, dictating the poolside elegance look of the season, or paired with rose gold to emanate a warm feeling of luxury. Softly coloured lenses are seductively transparent on the skin and cutaway oversized plated titanium frames create a hyper-feminine silhouette that showcases the highest example of craftsmanship. Metal double frames with a fold detail introduce a touch of innovation to the classic shapes and precious gold aviators are revisited with clip-on lenses or thick metal frames. Naturally evolving the growing design philosophy of the brand, Linda Farrow delivers another design evolution with this season.
